First Lamborghini Temerario GT3 to Racein North America
Lithia & Driveway (NYSE: LAD) will be back out on the racetrack for the 2026 International Motor Sports Association (IMSA)WeatherTec Championhip series as a premier partner of the Pfaff Motorsports Lamborghini. From the second race of the season onward, the team will replace its current HuracanGT3 EVO2 with a new Lamborghini Temerario GT3—the firstto race in North America. Derived from the Temerario road model, the Temerario GT3is making its highly anticipated North American debut at the 12 Hours ofSebring event in March, competing inthe GTD Pro class of the IMSA championships.
The winning partnership of Lithia & Driveway withPfaff Motorsports brings together the largest worldwide automotive retailer with one of the most successful sportscar racing teams in North America for the fifth year. The Pfaff team has won two IMSA SportsCar championships and 35 individual races, such as the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring.
Lithia & Driveway will be the primary sponsor for eight of the 11 events in the 2026 series. The official racing season runs from January 21 until October 3 at speedways across the U.S. and Canada, with eventsranging in length from 100-minute sprints to 24-hour endurance marathons.
In the Driver’s Seat

For 2026, the Pfaff Lamborghini has an impressive roster of drivers. Lamborghini Squadra Corsa factory driver, Andrea Caldarelli, returns after driving with the team in 2025 and partners with fellow factory driver Sandy Mitchell, who made a one-off appearance with the team last year at Watkins Glen. For the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, Caldarelli and Mitchell will be joined by James Hinchcliffe (returning for his third year with the team) and Lamborghini factory driver Mirko Bortolotti. For the 12 Hours of Sebring and Motul Petit Le Mans endurance events, Caldarelli and Mitchell will have additional support from another factory driver, Franck Perera.
